RHS Chelsea Flower Show

RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show will be back between 21 May  – 26 May 2018. This year promises to deliver the best show to date. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show has inspired millions of innovative garden design enthusiasts.

Since its inception in 1912, The RHS Chelsea Flower Show has firmly established itself as the most famous flower and landscape garden show in the United Kingdom. The incredible support from national and international gardening professionals has been the main drive for the success of the show. Naturally, you can expect a huge variety of exhibits featuring plants, products and many other garden-related displays.

Gardening and the power of plants can have a huge impact on many aspects of our lives. This year, we’re celebrating gardens that can improve health and well being, and that  mitigate against wider environmental challenges.

Getting to the show could not be easier. Owing to the huge popularity of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, parking in the area will be limited and large crowds are expected. Please refrain from using your own transport to get to the show. Whenever possible, use public transport. It’s better for the carbon footprint anyway 😊

The Book of Mormon London

Book of Mormon

Where: Prince of Wales Theatre
Address: Coventry St, London W1D 6AS
Website: Click Here

The Book of Mormon is being performed at The Prince of Wales Theatre in London. This delightfully funny West End musical takes a tongue-in-cheek poke at the religious world, offering great entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

The story follows two Mormon missionaries who travel to a distant Ugandan village in search of followers as they attempt to share their scriptures with the inhabitants. Understandably, the locals are less than interested to subscribe to their teachings as they have more pressing troubles to attend to such as AIDS, famine, and oppression from the local warlord. The clash of interests from both missionaries and the local villagers allows for comedy gold. Add a touch a jaw-dropping choreography to brilliant show tunes – and you are set for a great night out.

As you can imagine the show is very popular and tickets are in high demand. The production of The Book of Mormon is relatively new to the West End; however, it has been positively received by a wide range of age groups. One audience member said: ‘Laugh? I couldn’t stop. In this day of over sensitivity, this is a wonderful breath of fresh air.’

You will find The Prince of Wales Theatre located on Coventry Street in the West End of London, near Leicester Square. This national landmark was first established in 1884 and rebuilt in 1937. Later, in 2004, the theatre was refurbished by Sir Cameron Mackintosh, who is its current owner.
