New B+B relaunches Bar and Restaurant to Hampshire diners

Monday, July 13th, 2015

The Old House Hotel in historic Wickham Square has received a facelift!

Now sitting proudly alongside her sisters in Belgravia, Edinburgh and Weymouth , B+B Wickham is the newest member of the B+B Collection.

The building boasts original features galore and the 12 bedrooms have been individually designed around this. Ornate fireplaces, sash windows and cosy nooks are complimented with great quality white cotton linen on super comfy beds. Bathrooms boast luxurious products, white fluffy towels and each room has a bath and shower. B+B Wickham is a stylish alternative to outdated bed and breakfasts and offers an  affordable alternative to the predictable 4* chain hotel.

Public areas have been freshened with a brand new colour scheme  - adding the unique B+B flash to the bar and reception areas. Design and quality are big parts of the B+B philosophy.

But there is a big difference between B+B Wickham and her sisters and that is The Old House Bar and Restaurant.

Building on already fine reputation , Chef Andy Millard has worked tirelessly to create a menu we are all super proud to shout about! Hampshire is bursting with food purveyors galore and our new menus celebrate this heritage. Paired with a wine by the glass list sourced by our in-house expert, we are in no doubt – The Old House Bar and Restaurant  will become THE food and drink destination of Wickham and Hampshire. … and if this wonderful weather holds for the summer – the suntrapped garden welcoming dogs will be the perfect al fresco venue for lazy lunches!

To help celebrate the opening, members of the B+B Collection Belong + Benefit Club are to receive an exclusive opening offer. Click here to read all about it!

B+B Belgravia and Team wish B+B Wickham and The old House Bar and Restaurant all the very best for their opening and launch on 20th July 2015.

summer fun in London

Wednesday, July 16th, 2014

Summer in London is fun – the city comes alive with festivals of food, culture or just good time bonkers events!  The city is so well connected that a visitor is never too far from an amazing event – from a local neighbourhood street market to a huge open air cinematic experience.

London’s choice of alfresco film screenings is bigger than ever for 2014. Big-screen movie showings, with line-ups covering everything from well-loved comedies to cult classics, have popped up for the season and have been really popular during the hot weather.

And the summer weather has been perfect for doing what we Brits do very well – visit the pub! London’s beer gardens are the best – overlooking the Thames, along the Embankment with local ales on tap and fun BBQ’s. Or look up – the best places to kick back, soak in the sun and listen to the capital’s top DJ’s are the rooftops with venues offering the festival vibe in the heart of the city.

But for the culture vultures amongst us – the biggest music festival in London is the Proms. Spanning 3 months, London opens its doors to the  greatest orchestras and classical musicians in the world. The big concerts attract big audiences but you can often get standing room space for £5, available on the day. All starts this Friday, 18th July.

So, whilst London is a huge urban city – there are plenty of reasons to get outdoors and seek an alternative view of our amazing capital city!london Summer
